It’s been a pretty busy gardening week this week. Mainly getting some of the seedlings moved into larger containers and just trying to keep up with the watering and weeding. Two more sets of plants finally germinated; Balloon Flower and Lovage. The Lovage was planted back on May 25th and just sprouted yesterday (June 17’th) – so nearly a month for that one. Two other flats are apparently “duds.” Which may just be due to the age of the seed – Mexican bush Marigolds and Formosa Lily. The soil may be the … Continue reading

I’ve been very busy trying to get my stuff growing and also helping out with getting other projects taken care of around the “homestead.” Yesterday I finished setting up an irrigation system out in the orchard. It still needs a few tweaks, but I think the “hard part” is pretty much done. That being getting the irrigation valve manifold connected to a timer and water source – and then getting the rest of the piping hooked into the manifold. It’s been a week of frustration in Warhammer this past week. I’m not sure what’s happened, but ever since the end of the “Night of Murder” special event, there have been more bugs cropping up than ever in Warhammer. It’s almost like the first few weeks of release – very bad! And it’s especially annoying since my first impression just a few short weeks ago was such a silky-smooth, non-buggy experience. Even me! Argh! Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, but I’ve been under the weather for about a week. I even went into the emergency room last Monday with chest pains, but they couldn’t find anything wrong with my heart, so they attributed it to a combination of stress and asthma. They did find that I had pretty high blood pressure though, so they gave me a new regimen to get that under control. I actually spent all of my gaming time this past President’s Day in Warhammer: Age of Reckoning. And I must say that it’s been a mostly positive experience for the most part. Although, I am starting to notice some of the things that drove me away last time. They’re not huge flaws, but flaws that are still there after all this time.
